We are searching for an Accountant to provide support to the finance team in the Asia region. Job Summary The successful candidate will report to the Accounts Director Asia, handle the full spectrum of Financial, Tax and Accounting issues, and be responsible for all day‑to‑day accounting operations of the Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan companies. Main responsibilities will include: Handling daily accounting routines and the full set of accounts, including data entry input, payroll calculation and CPF submission, reconciliation of Payables, Receivables and accounts, preparation of various monthly accounting reports such as cash‑flow forecast, cash‑flow statement and financial statements. Maintaining personnel and payroll records, and appropriately handling confidential information. Handling GST returns and liaison with tax accountant. Handling yearly audit and liaison with external auditor. Supporting office administration and ad‑hoc tasks. Job requirements: Degree in Accounting/Finance. Relevant accounting experience (preferably in a multi‑national company), at least 5 years working in Hong Kong. Working knowledge of IFRS Standard. Solid experience in the accounting activities mentioned above. Good knowledge of current HK tax and statutory requirements; knowledge of Taiwan and Japan is an advantage. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience working with Big‑10 audit firms is a privilege. Fluent English speaking and writing; Putonghua is an advantage. Strong organizational, analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with little supervision.
