Collaborate with Underwriting and Business Development to provide expert recommendations on product features, underwriting rules, and reinsurance structures tailored to client requirements.
Formulate pricing assumptions leveraging internal experience, market research, and advanced data analytics.
Ensure financial projections align with AXA's minimum profitability and risk standards.
Prepare and document product specifications, pricing assumptions, and actuarial models, and obtain necessary internal approvals.
Assist in drafting treaty documentation and coordinating approvals with Legal and Compliance teams.
Experience Study & Related Contributions Contribute to experience studies, optimize coding processes, and engage in research initiatives to improve pricing precision.
Provide second opinions and insights on CI product launched by other AXA entities.
Contribute to ad-hoc projects aimed at improving pricing efficiency and market competitiveness.
Pricing Model Development Design and maintain pricing bases and actuarial models for Critical Illness and other protection products across multiple markets supported by AXA RI Hub.
Incorporate market-specific assumptions and regulatory requirements into pricing frameworks.
Client & Product Development Support Work closely with Business Development teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
Support product development initiatives for AXA entities and external insurers, ensuring competitive and sustainable pricing strategies.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics or a related field.
Progress toward actuarial certification with the Society of Actuaries or equivalent.
Prior experience in life (re)insurance (i.e.
pricing or valuation) is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Python, R, and Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of Medical and Critical Illness insurance products is an advantage.
Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Innovative, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a focus on practical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively across diverse teams.
Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Mandarin and English speaking is a plus.
