We're on the hunt for experienced Logistics Sales! This is a hybrid sales position with a strong focus on acquiring new customers and nurturing to grow existing customers’ portfolio. You play a critical role in driving DP World's growth and revenue by continuously bringing in new clients. Your ability to identify and convert leads into customers is an asset for DP World. The role is accountable for developing and cultivating BCO accounts covering all locations of China Cluster in specific industry verticals. This entails developing and executing sales / key account strategies, developing long-term strategic relationships with BCOs and reporting on account performance to support DP World China achieving its sales KPIs and business goals. Key Accountabilities Develop a deep understanding of the logistics products and solutions provided by DP World. Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business and identify/ explore commercial opportunities in the location. Responsible for achieving the stipulated sales target set by DP World. Contribute to the formation and implementation of DP World China’s overall sales and account management strategies for Southern China to achieve OKRs and KPIs. Actively seek out new business opportunities by identifying and targeting potential customers through various means such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and referrals. Identify, establish and maintain strong relationships with existing/new BCOs to understand their evolving needs, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction to secure repeat business. Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential customers. Collaborate with BCOs to design tailored logistics solutions that align with their specific requirements and business objectives. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with BCOs to secure profitable and mutually beneficial agreements. Monitor performance of sales plans and evaluate successes, risks and opportunities and formulate plans to address these. Stay informed about logistics industry trends, competitive services, and market conditions and utilize it effectively during sales work and internal exchange. Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements, especially when dealing with international logistics and transportation. Work closely and effectively with cross-functional teams within the DP World global and local network, such as operations and customer service, to ensure the successful servicing customers. Qualifications, Skills and Experience Tertiary qualifications preferably in Business Administration, Shipping/ Logistics Management, or equivalent disciplines. Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales/ account management experience with a Freight Forwarding/ Logistics company for sales manager role. Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding and logistics Industry. Experienced working in customer-centric environment (Agile experience is a plus). Solid work experience with BCOs, and/or with proven track record of building and maintaining high quality, long-term business relationships with BCOs (in high-tech/Automotive/Electronics industries is a plus). Effective verbal and written communications in English and interpersonal skills. Ability to research, identify, tackle, grow and close business opportunities. Results-driven, self-starter, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Great negotiation, consultative and relationship management skills.
