The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, contingency, geopolitical, operational, credit, pension, insurance, market and reputation risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth. We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Wealth Risk Officer. Responsible for the administrative and secretarial support to the GPB and Wealth Asia Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and to some extent, the broader GPB and Wealth Asia Risk team members The Executive Assistant supports the GPB&W Asia CRO and his/her team in the completion of operational and administrative duties Manage standard, advanced and sometimes confidential secretarial and general office duties Handle confidential matters and material in a discrete manner Provide support in the completion of the general governance tasks and duties arising from the Risk Management Meeting Monitor manager’s emails, calendar, phone calls in his/her absence and deal with issue when can be solved straight away Screen and handle the daily calls and inquiries of the manager, executive or department, responding independently to routine issues and questions Manage appointment calendar, meetings and domestic/foreign travel arrangements/itineraries, in compliance with corporate guidelines, policies and procedures Prepare and submit expense claims Provide support and ensure administrative tasks are promptly and effectively managed, including HR hiring approvals tasks, HR performance management tasks, staff access approval and certifications, travel authorization and expenses, etc Support the onboarding of new staff: authorizations, equipment, allocation of space as well as the good setting up of computers, emails, I-Net and phone arrangements Prepare a few Power Point presentations as well as excel templates Handle ad hoc issues as assigned Requirements 3-5 years’ of experience in supporting a Senior Executive Strong planning, organizational and coordination skills Strong interpersonal skills and numerical sense Strong communication skills, both written and oral Ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision Excellent PC skills with proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point Ability to adapt to a wide range of work procedure and operational guidelines Ability to prioritise and work under a tight schedule and pressure HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
