Responsibilities
Oversee sales and profit performance in the assigned store or department.
Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop budgets and monitor performance to meet sales and margin goals.
Set individual sales goals for associates and supervise staff to maximize sales and profits.
Create a welcoming environment that attracts customers and builds loyalty by exceeding expectations. Coach staff to uphold exceptional customer service standards.
Provide feedback to Buyers and Planners on high-performing merchandise and classifications.
Ensure visual presentation initiatives support merchandise display and store ambiance, aligned with Polo Ralph Lauren’s image.
Achieve store shrinkage targets and implement loss prevention procedures.
Recruit, supervise, and develop staff, including succession planning and motivation programs.
Coordinate with senior management to execute promotional strategies supporting sales, marketing, and profit objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
College degree or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in luxury retail.
Enthusiasm for projecting a high level of taste and sophistication aligned with Polo’s lifestyle philosophy.
Strong leadership skills in negotiation, teamwork, motivation, and staff development.
Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
Interpersonal skills and the ability to guide individuals toward goals.
