Responsibilities As an Associate, you will work as part of a team of lawyers with extensive industry experience, helping clients solve interesting and complex legal issues with a practical business perspective. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to handling: A wide range of IP litigation matters in all areas of IP including trade mark, passing off, copyright, patent, trade secrets, advisory and contentious data privacy, entertainment and media, advertising matters; IP commercial matters (including client projects relating to e-commerce, technology transfer, M&A IP due diligence, licensing, telecommunications, manufacturing, distribution, franchising, product liability, regulatory compliance, etc). Requirements A Hong Kong qualified lawyer with at least 3 years of relevant IP litigation and/or IP commercial experience (preferably trained from an IP team). Excellent level of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese, and preferably Putonghua). A motivated, proactive individual who is willing and eager to learn, contribute as a team player, and has good interpersonal skills, management skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
