For more information about the University, please visit Li Ka Shing School of Professional & Continuing Education (Li PACE)The Li Ka Shing School of Professional and Continuing Education (Li PACE) is one of the seven constituent schools of Hong Kong Metropolitan University.
Originally established in 1992 as the Centre for Continuing and Community Education (CCCE) and renamed as Li PACE in 2000, it has carried out its original mission of serving the broadest range of learners in HK.
Li PACE is now an established Vocational Professional Education and Training (VPET) provider of full-time post-secondary education and part-time professional and continuing education as well as corporate training.
At the same time, it advances non-formal learning through its two flagship programmes for women and senior learners, the Capacity Building Mileage Programme (CBMP) and Elderly Academy at Hong Kong Metropolitan University (EAMU).
Over the years, Li PACE has developed into an established and mature post-secondary, continuing and professional education provider which makes an important contribution to the University.
It performs complementary but vital roles in fulfilling the University's founding mission of providing education for all, as evidenced by the extensive range of disciplines covered and study levels of its programmes, as well as the diversity in age, nationality and occupation of its learners.
We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position(s) in the Li PACE: Temporary Executive Assistant (Li PACE) (Ref.: 25001 ZY)Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Developing and creating compelling content for Little Red Note, including social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, and promotional materials; Conducting desk research to stay updated on social media trends and proposing fresh ideas into content creation; Providing administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the Mainland Team, and maintaining accurate and organized files and records; Assisting with communication and engagement with students, including handling enquiries from applicants, students and instructors; Providing logistical support for the Mainland Team's and School's functions and activities; and Performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean (Li PACE) or his/her nominee.
Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A recognized bachelor's degree in any discipline; At least two years of relevant post-qualification experience; A good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); Proficiency in computer applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Canva or other graphic design tool, etc.); Attributes of being a good team player, possessing a strong sense of responsibility, and demonstrating good communication and interpersonal skills; and The ability to work independently.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to present their personal social media accounts during the interview as a demonstration of their expertise in account management and content creation.
Terms and Conditions for Appointment Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary full-time contract.
