Senior Business Development Manager (Io T / Electronics / Healthcare)Client Description: Leading manufacturer and supplier of Io T products and applications. Job Description: The Senior Business Development Manager is a senior management position responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing, and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets. Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services. Plans and oversees channel development, advertising, and promotion activities including social media presence to improve the Company’s presence and recognition. Oversees and evaluates market research to develop and recommend appropriate brand strategy, product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy. Ensures effective control of marketing results and makes appropriate adjustments to guarantee achievement of marketing objectives. Monitors competitor products, sales, and marketing activities; provides benchmarking targets for Product Development. Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners, representing the company at relevant trade events. Meets key clients and leads sales representatives for relationship management and negotiating and closing deals. Develops and manages approved sales/marketing operating budgets; controls expenditures to conform to approved budgetary requirements. Manages sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals to achieve satisfactory profit levels and market share. Maintains prospects and customer database and business development dashboards for regular reporting to senior management. Manages staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs. Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and sales reports to measure performance against targets. Oversees the preparation of manuals, technical publications, and other relevant marketing materials. Provides direction for product research and development. Direct report to the Chief Executive Officer; responsible for the following departments: Sales and Marketing.
