This is a unique opportunity to join an emerging AI company at the intersection of Work Tech, Gov Tech, and Civic Tech, working directly with the founding team to shape our market presence, strategic alliances, and investment roadmap in China.

About the Role
The Strategic Partnerships Lead – China will play a key role in:
Building and managing relationships with venture capital firms, accelerators, and strategic investors.
Identifying and developing joint ventures and Saa S collaborations across the public and enterprise sectors.
Supporting market entry through ecosystem mapping, policy awareness, and strategic networking.
Representing Restart Us in discussions with government-linked innovation programs, smart city initiatives, and enterprise alliances.
Contributing to fundraising strategy and localization of the Restart Us model for China’s Gov Tech landscape.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a dynamic and well-connected professional passionate about the future of AI, public sector innovation, and smart city ecosystems.
Must-Haves
Experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or investment relations.
Strong understanding of China’s tech and government innovation ecosystem.
Existing network with VCs, Saa S providers, or public sector stakeholders.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate autonomously.
Nice-to-Haves
Prior work in AI, Gov Tech, or Civic Tech startups.
Background in venture fundraising or cross-border partnerships.
Bilingual proficiency (Mandarin / English).
Role Details
Title: Strategic Partnerships Lead – China (Gov Tech & AI)
Commitment: Part-time, flexible (potential to evolve into a full-time role as the China market develops)
Compensation: Currently a non-salaried partner role, with clear prospects to transition into a salaried executive and shareholder position as funding and partnerships progress.
Location: Mainland China (Candidates must already be based in mainland China, even for remote work)
