Job Description: We're looking for a senior conversation designer, who has a strong interest and point of view on this field and is passionate about its potential.

You'll have experience designing conversational / AI agents and/or voice-activated user interfaces.

You know the difference between NLP and NLU, but you're driven by solving human problems and designing a more accessible human experience.

You'll be highly skilled at creating conversational flows, and comfortable with the technical possibilities and constraints.

You'll also be a strong communicator and collaborator, ready to share knowledge and build a community with teams in local markets.

Your previous experience might include writing written conversational tone of voice, or brand guidelines.

Or may have re-designed a call centre virtual agent and customer experience.

Perhaps you've created skills for voice assistants like Alexa or Siri.

Key Responsibilities: Conversation Design: Creating conversational flows, dialogues, and user interactions that are natural, intuitive, and user-friendly.

This involves understanding user needs, defining user personas, and mapping out conversational paths to achieve desired outcomes.

Responsible for bot personality which will reflect brand and localisation guidelines.

Designing system prompt for conversation interfaces that leverage an LLM.

Enabling quality and accessibility in the conversational experience throughout.

Conversational Copywriting in Traditional and/or Simplified Chinese, and English: Developing and refining conversational content, including prompts, responses, error messages, and system messages.

Conversation designers need to ensure the content is clear, concise, and tailored to the target audience.

Documentation: Documenting conversational design guidelines, best practices, and design decisions.

Conversation designers create design documentation that can be used as a reference by other team members and serve as a knowledge base for future projects.

Testing and Iteration: Conducting user testing sessions to gather feedback and insights on the conversational experience.

Conversation designers use this feedback to refine and iterate on the design, making improvements to enhance user satisfaction and system performance.

Prepare reports and presentations: They need to communicate and present designs and conversation flows to stakeholders and make recommendations for future sprints and output.

Qualifications Experience, Attributes and Qualifications: 5+ years' proven conversational design experience, ideally for both chat and voice assistants.

A background in interaction design for consumer products and services, which may have been focused on content design UX writing, information architecture, and/or content strategy.

FS industry experience would be a plus.

Experience design and facilitating workshops and client ideation sessions.

Familiarity with conversation design tools like Google Dialog Flow, Bot Mock or Bot Society; familiarity with interaction design tools like Visio, Adode XD, Figma, Miro etc.

Strong research skills, including planning, execution, and research synthesis.

Interest and point of view on human-computer interaction/the field of conversation design and its potential Comfortable designing for data and AI capabilities and familiarity with conversational technology Ability to translate complex subjects and language into accessible, engaging, and human content.

Must be able to work and follow business conversations in fluent English and fluent Cantonese and/ or Mandarin.
