We represent Hong Kong University of Science & Technology to invite application for the position of Associate Director Campus Development.
Responsibilities
Support the Director of Campus Development (DCD) in maintaining a sustainable environment for education and research, and, in consultation with University Senior Management and Council, review and further develop the Campus Development Plan (CDP) and Campus Renewal Plan (CRP) to ensure they meet the University’s evolving needs.
Support the DCD in liaising with the University Grants Committee (UGC) on capital matters, including funding applications for new capital works and AA&I works.
Oversee procurement and manage consultants and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience
A degree in a construction-related field and membership in a recognized professional organization, such as HKIA, HKIE or HKIS.
A minimum of 15 years’ post-qualification experience in architecture, engineering, or construction, with substantial site construction experience.
Proven project management skills and experience in leading complex capital works from planning through completion, with strong knowledge of construction contracts.
A good command of spoken and written English. Knowledge of Chinese is preferred.
