This initiative intertwines Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) to explore and conserve marine ecosystems, particularly focusing on corals. Job Responsibilities:1. Scientific Research on Coral: Conduct and lead research on coral ecology, threats, and conservation strategies. Develop and implement educational materials for students and the community. Develop, implement, and manage Arduino-based monitoring systems for coral tanks. Handle data collection, analysis, and reporting for coral growth and health. Oversee and engage in the design and construction of coral tanks. Ensure the optimal functioning and maintenance of coral habitats.4. Educational & Community Engagement: Lead and facilitate workshops and activities related to coral science and conservation. Engage with schools and the community to promote awareness of coral conservation. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Marine Biology, Ocean Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields. Proven experience in scientific research, technology application, and/or engineering in a relevant context. Strong ability to convey scientific concepts educationally and engagingly. Familiarity with Arduino programming, sensor utilization, and data management. Exceptional organizational and leadership skills. Proficient in both English and Chinese.
