A growing digital asset trading platform is expanding its engineering team. The company operates a crypto exchange focused on security, reliability, and a smooth user experience for both retail and institutional traders.
We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer who can help build and scale their trading platform across web, APIs, and backend services.
Role Overview
You will work across the entire stack, from modern web interfaces to backend services powering trading, wallets, and account management. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams to deliver features that are robust, performant, and secure in a 24/7 trading environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning features end-to-end and is comfortable working in a fast-moving, crypto-native product team.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain web applications for their exchange platform.
Develop backend services and APIs that support trading, user accounts, KYC, and wallet operations.
Implement clean, reusable, and well-tested code across front-end and back-end.
Integrate with databases, messaging systems, and third-party services.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to turn requirements into technical solutions.
Monitor and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Ensure security best practices are followed across the stack (auth, sessions, API access, etc.).
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to improving engineering standards and practices.
Requirements (Must Have)
4+ years of experience as a full stack or backend-focused web developer.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as
React
or similar.
Experience with back-end frameworks such as
Node.js / Next.js
or equivalent.
Comfortable working with relational and/or No SQL databases (e.g. Postgre SQL, Mongo DB).
Familiarity with cloud environments and Dev Ops tooling (e.g. AWS, containers, CI/CD, Git).
Solid understanding of web fundamentals: HTTP, REST APIs, security basics, performance.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and deliver in a fast-paced setting.
Good communication skills in English and ability to collaborate in a distributed team.
Nice to Have
Experience building or maintaining systems for trading, exchanges, or fintech products.
Knowledge of Web3 / blockchain concepts and interaction with chains or wallets.
Experience with languages such as Go, Rust, or Python in production systems.
Familiarity with message queues, microservices, and real-time data (Web Sockets, streaming).
Exposure to front-end state management, SSR, or component libraries.
Prior experience mentoring engineers or leading small project teams.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
