About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Institutional Salesto lead our client acquisition and relationship management strategy across the digital assets ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and scaling institutional sales teams, with deep knowledge of crypto markets, digital asset products, and institutional client needs.
This is a leadership role where you will shape our institutional go-to-market strategy, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth by expanding our presence across chinese hedge funds, asset managers, family offices, trading firms, and other professional counterparties.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive institutional sales strategy to grow client acquisition and revenues.
Lead, mentor, and expand the institutional sales team to achieve aggressive growth targets.
Build and maintain deep, long-term relationships with key institutional clients including hedge funds, market makers, asset managers, family offices, and corporates.
Identify and structure partnership opportunities with strategic counterparties such as custodians, exchanges, and liquidity providers.
Drive sales pipeline management, deal execution, and client onboarding processes.
Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client engagements to position the company as a trusted institutional partner.
Requirements:10+ years of institutional sales or business development experience, with at least 3+ years in the crypto / digital assets industry.
Strong network of institutional relationships across hedge funds, trading firms, asset managers, and other professional investors.
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and closing large-scale institutional deals.
Deep understanding of crypto trading, custody, derivatives, lending, and other institutional-grade products.
Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing high-performing sales teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Nice to Have: Prior experience at a digital asset prime broker, exchange, trading firm, or institutional crypto service provider.
Knowledge of regulatory landscape for digital assets across key jurisdictions.
