THE COMPANY : Award winning fashion design studio with own workshop in Hong Kong We design & manufacture: ladies evening dresses, bridal gowns, night and evening fashion and tailor made garments. We are looking for PATTERN MAKER - with details as follows: THE JOB : Collaborate with the Fashion Designer to create patterns from hand sketches, technical sketches and/or technical packs; through customer approval process to final sample. Responsible for sample mock-up, fitting, final garment construction and technical advice all through the process from development to production. Act as a team leader to pass on paper patterns, sewing instructions, handiwork instructions, and QC instructions to the workshop manufacturing team. Provide fitting comments and technical advice. Ensure manufacturing team understands and complies with the quality standards and requirements. Extensive experience with tailor made women's wear, evening gowns, wedding gowns, corsets, and draping. Ensure perfect fit as per client’s requests.5+ years as a pattern maker in fashion design/garment field, inclusive of evening wear, bridal gown, or equivalent. No trips are required.5 days work.
