Established through a public-private partnership, the hospital is being constructed by the government, with HKBU appointed as the contractor in June 2021 through a tendering process.
Subsequently, HKBU registered "HKBU Chinese Medicine Hospital Company Limited" as the operator in accordance with the requirements of the service deed, which is responsible for the management, operation, and maintenance of CMHHK.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the health and well-being of our community and create a brighter future Senior Support Services Manager Position Overview We are seeking a strategic and dynamic leader to serve as the Senior Support Services Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager (Administrative Services and Human Resources).
This senior role will oversee and drive key management functions within the Administrative Services Division, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership Collaborate with the General Manager to define and implement policies and strategies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Administrative Services Division, including domestic support services, procurement, materials management, and facilities oversight.
Senior Management Support Provide high-level support to senior hospital management in the development and execution of strategic initiatives related to administrative services.
Operational Excellence Lead the managerial functions across various critical areas, including: General Administration Domestic and Supportive Services Procurement and Materials Management Laundry and Linen Supply Services Emergency Preparedness Community and Media Relations Coordination Green Management Cross-Departmental Collaboration Act as a key liaison between diverse departments, fostering collaborative relationships to ensure seamless operations and service delivery.

Crisis Management Develop and implement strategies for emergency preparedness, ensuring the organization is equipped to respond effectively to unforeseen circumstances.
Additional Duties Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager, contributing to the overall success of the Administrative Services Division.
Requirements: A university degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
A minimum of fifteen years of progressive experience in hospital administration, with a proven track record in both public and private hospital settings.
Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and handle on-call duties as needed.
Extensive practical experience in managing a diverse range of administrative functions within a hospital environment.
Proven expertise in hospital accreditation processes and standards.
Strong team player with exceptional collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent strategic and operational management capabilities.
