Responsibilities Lead the delivery team in managing signalling contractors through tender preparation, assessment, design review, interface management, installation, system integration, testing and commissioning, and all related safety, environmental, quality, programming, contract administration and commercial aspects, ensuring compliance with specifications and Corporate/statutory requirements. Lead multi-disciplinary task forces to achieve complex project milestones, ensuring the delivery and integration of signalling contracts with other contracts for successful project delivery. Manage contractors and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including statutory authorities, to secure technical and programme interfaces, identify productivity improvement opportunities, and foster a collaborative culture for continuous improvement and innovation. Contribute to the development of signalling contract strategies that align with project goals and organisational objectives. Utilise Common Data Environment (CDE), Building Information Modeling (BIM), offsite fabrication and testing, digital construction and integrated project controls as a collaborative digital platform for effective project management. Requirements Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a related discipline. Possession of Corporate Membership in a recognised professional institution. A minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience in managing the design and construction of signalling works for large-scale railway projects, of which 6 years should be at a managerial level, preferably in a multi-disciplinary environment, including but not limited to operating railway environments. Strong overall signalling domain knowledge is required, especially with extensive brownfield experience on Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) systems. Strong interpersonal skills and proactive mindset to motivate staff and foster collaboration. With an innovative mindset to continuously improve railway project works. Remarks Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms.
