Role Introduction Reports to: Senior Solution Lead
Join Cathay as a Solution Lead in our People Solution Centre. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of IT solutions (e.g., Digital Employee Experience Programme) with high-quality deliverables aligned with the business vision and goals. You will manage a dynamic team using various delivery methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
Support pre-project consulting for a portfolio of initiatives, capturing and communicating business needs; focus on small to medium-scale projects and support process changes.
Recommend viable ideas to improve business performance.
Develop and maintain a cross-departmental view of IT and business processes.
Collaborate with analysts and architects to design and develop infrastructure and solutions, proposing approaches.
Plan, design, develop, implement, and support IT solutions to meet customer needs, continuously improving standard practices.
Stay updated on the latest technology trends relevant to the industry and business domain.
Focus on medium to large initiatives, initiating, defining, planning, and executing tasks.
Test all aspects of solutions, including security, performance, and integration.
Manage daily activities of the software development team and external vendors as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field; Master’s preferred.
At least 8 years of IT experience in software development, analysis, and testing.
Strong software development skills are advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Experience with RPA, Id P technologies, and solutions like Ui Path, including automation and intelligent document processing.
Knowledge of Dev Ops environments, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), web technologies, scripting, databases, and automation tools.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Industry knowledge in airlines or travel is beneficial.
Proactive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong stakeholder communication skills.
