Position School/Unit: School of Nursing and Health Sciences Closing Date01/Jan/2025, 3:59:00 PMMajor Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Assisting the Dean in the School’s administration including programme administration, academic oversight, project management, student support and services, general office administration and stakeholder engagement; Supporting a wide range of admissions and outreach events for the academic programmes, including student recruitment and admissions, programmes promotion, academic and social events coordination, and other stakeholders; Liaising with staff of the University and external parties to ensure that the programmes and courses are planned, developed and presented smoothly; Handling administrative duties involved in learning and teaching activities, research, donations, and student related matters; Planning, coordinating and managing for new initiatives in the development of the School, its Departments and programmes; Providing secretarial support to committees; Supervising and coaching junior staff; and Performing any other duties as assigned. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A recognized degree with at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience; supervisory level in communication, media relations, public relations, or publications or editorial work in the higher education or commercial sector; Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to respond proactively to rapidly changing needs; A good team player with the ability to multi-task and be very attentive to details; Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills; and An excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; and good computer skills.
