Assistant Manager, Insurance Governance (agency channel)- Insurance Framework Ownership: Design and implement a robust Intermediary Management Framework aligned with both Group standards and evolving statutory requirements Regulatory Compliance: Monitor local government mandates for intermediary management to ensure full compliance and mitigate risk. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and strengthen strategic relationships with internal business units, external vendors, and business partners. Governance Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs focused on governance and ethical conduct for corporate agents. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain rigorous internal controls for managing agencies and brokers, including frequent risk-based reviews. Risk Profiling: Perform detailed risk profiling of intermediaries to ensure they meet legal standards and company risk appetite. Embedded Compliance: Design and document key compliance controls that are integrated directly into daily business operations. Strategic Support: Act as a core support to the company’s key person for the intermediary management function. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with sales teams and other control functions to ensure a unified approach to intermediary governance. Qualifications Education & Experience: University degree with at least 6 years of specialized experience in Insurance Intermediary Management. Regulatory Expertise: Deep familiarity with the Insurance Ordinance and other relevant regulatory guidelines. Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of insurance business operations and a sharp sense for market trends. Strategic Mindset: Proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills and the resilience to handle complex challenges.
