Job Summary We are seeking an inventory talent to take ownership of drug inventory control in our medical organization.
This role is an individual contributor position focused on monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing inventory levels to ensure efficient stock management, compliance with regulatory standards, and minimal disruptions to clinical operations.
The successful candidate will establish systematic processes, leverage data for decision-making, and address inventory-related challenges independently.
Key Responsibilities• Monitor inventory levels through regular audits, cycle counts, and data analysis to optimize stock and minimize disruptions.• Maintain accurate records in the Clinic Management System, forecasting demand and resolving issues such as variances or expirations.• Ensure safe storage and handling of pharmaceuticals, including controlled substances, in line with regulatory standards.• Provide analytical insights to procurement for informed replenishment and prepare reports on metrics like turnover, wastage and cost efficiency.• Contribute to pharmacy operations with a focus on process improvements and problem-solving.
Requirements• Higher Diploma, or higher, in Dispensing Studies, logistics, operations management or equivalent.• 2-5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a clinic setting.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of independent work in a dynamic environment.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for senior officer role.
Preferred Experience• Familiarity with Hong Kong clinic protocols, such as aseptic or cytotoxic drug handling.• Knowledge of lean inventory methods or advanced analytics tools.
