Position overview As our Assistant Manager in Product Innovation & Development, you'll be the driving force behind our product development projects.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, from marketing enthusiasts to health aficionados, to be responsible of research & insights for product development, and to facilitate strategic decision making process.
What you 'll be doing Serve as the liaison between the commercial team and manufacturing partners to ensure products are delivered according to the commercial team's requirements.
Gather and analyze data from various sources such as market research, customer feedback, and consumer trends to identify customer needs, preferences, and pain points and conduct customer insights analysis to inform product development strategies.
Utilize strategic thinking to align project objectives with organizational goals, identify opportunities, anticipate risks, and make informed decisions that optimize project outcomes.
Collaborate with internal teams, manufacturing partners, and industrial designers to ensure a shared understanding of requirements between commercial and production teams.
Facilitate the development process and ensure the successful launch of final products.
Gather and develop product catalogues and packaging design requirements.
Collaborate with the R&D team to conduct product testing and review surveys.
Conduct post-implementation reviews and troubleshoot production problems.
Who we're looking for Diploma or Degree holder in any discipline.4+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in the FMCG.
Strong in product development and picking up market insights.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Good command of spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Willingness to travel to our Tai Po manufacturing site.
