Job description: Job Descriptions in English version is available / 只提供英文版本Responsibilities: Conduct regular checks and audits to ensure the company and associated partners comply with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and food safety requirements and government ordinances/rules/regulations Conduct accident investigations and prepare reports Conduct risk assessments for projects/events and prepare reports Provide safety advice related to events and vetting of event layout plans to ensure all safety requirements are fulfilled.
Conduct inspection to events and prepare non-compliance report to organizers Liaise with the Government Departments regarding Health & Safety (H&S) standards and legislations matters Provide routine and induction safety training to employees and service partners Provide administrative support to all safety related matters and promote safety awareness within the venue Perform any ad hoc assignments as required Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety Management, Food Safety & Hygiene Management, or related disciplines Minimum 2 years' relevant working experience; preferably with MICE industry experience Well versed in OH&S / FS&H Ordinance and Guidelines A good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, well-organized and able to work independently Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Chinese word processing Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and Mandarin is a plus Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Safety Officer.
