We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate Director, Equity Derivatives Trading.
Principal Responsibilities Job Background/Context: Trading role in the Warrants and CBBC Market Making division which is part of the Equity Derivatives business of HSBC Key Responsibilities: Market Making of Warrants, CBBCs, Inline Warrants Familiar with derivatives pricing, hedging and the aspects of Market Making and Risk Management Managing derivative positions within risk limits Run issuance processes and maintain competitive product range Closely work together with regional sales teams and support local strategic initiatives Develop market share, monitor competition and new market trends Analyse in depth customer flow Lead and support project work and expansion of the Warrants trading platform Work closely with IT on improving Trading system Requirements Knowledge & Competencies: Extensive experience with Financial Markets and knowledge of derivatives products Ability to multi-task and to work well under pressure, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills High motivation and reliability Team worker and high level of flexibility in working hours Skills: Technical skills with standard systems Programming skills Analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with very strong analytical skills Language skills English, Cantonese, Mandarin You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.
