The team works hand-in-hand with internal and external partners across a spectrum of initiatives, including product and platform development, strategic market-facing projects, collaboration with other exchanges and market participants, and expansion into complementary and new lines of business.Job Duties:The role presents a unique opportunity for a highly commercial and analytical candidate with a desire to contribute to the regional and global financial markets. Experience in exchanges, strategy, corporate finance or business development is strongly preferred. Capital markets or market infrastructure experience is a plus.Responsibilities:Support the Group Strategy team to develop, plan and execute strategic initiatives for the firmWork closely with stakeholders to assist the Group and HKEX Divisions to facilitate strategic initiativesSupport necessary work associated with potential merger, acquisition, investment and external partnership opportunities which may be relevant for HKEXConduct high-quality financial, competitive and business model analysis and market research on topical issues to catalyze key decision and long-term growthRequirements:University degree, preferably in Finance / Economics / Business Administration or related disciplines3-5 years’ experience in strategy, corporate finance, consulting or business development from the financial services industry.
