Associate - Infrastructure & Operations Engineer - IT

Job Summary
Job Duties:
Lead the design, engineering, and operations of core infrastructure platforms, including compute, storage, network, backup, automation, and monitoring.
Oversee critical infrastructure solution delivery, ensuring alignment with HKEX standards, cybersecurity controls, and regulatory requirements.
Serve as SME on Linux platform operations, infrastructure modernization, and operational automation.
Drive adoption of modern technologies (e.g., containerization, orchestration, Ia C).
Manage technical planning, project timelines, risk assessments, and implementation quality.
Provide Tier‑3 escalation support and lead critical incident management.
Mentor and develop junior engineers; review technical designs and workflows.
Maintain and improve internal processes through automation, documentation, and standards enforcement.
Collaborate with Info Sec, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure end‑to‑end reliability and resilience.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on infrastructure engineering experience, including Linux server/Cloud administration, troubleshooting, and hardening.
Experience in public cloud, container platforms, or storage/backup preferred.
Strong hands‑on experience in SDN/SD‑WAN, cloud virtual networking, and modern network architectures.
Strong understanding of automation, scripting, and process improvement.
Proven project / technical leadership experience in large‑scale IT environments.
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑team collaboration skills.
