To cope with the rapid business expansion, they are now inviting high caliber candidates to join the team Associate, Risk Management Specialist – Risk Management Job Purpose: Execute Head Office and company requirements to ensure the effectiveness of risk control mechanisms; strengthened data governance to improve risk data quality; and ensured robust operational risk management.
Responsibilities: System & Data Governance Administered the risk data system and liaised on optimization requirements to enhance system functionality.
Coordinated regular data entry across departments to ensure the integrity and timeliness of risk data.
Operational Risk Management Managed operational risk projects, including collecting statistics, conducting inspections/assessments, and preparing regulatory reports for the Head Office.
Collaborated with cross-functional teams to compile comprehensive risk reports for senior management and the Head Office.
Comprehensive Risk Administration Oversaw consolidated management functions, including policy reviews, data preparation, and regular monitoring of affiliates' status.
Maintained organized records and documentation; handled ad-hoc assignments and special projects as required.
Requirements: Degree holder in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related discipline with membership of professional bodies (HKICPA, ACCA, CFA, FRM, etc) is highly preferred.
IT background is an advantage2-4 years' experience in operational risk management/credit in securities, investment banking industry Best to have auditing (internal/external), and/or due-diligence experience Knowledge of SFO, Listing Rules and operations of private equity fund management business and investment banking business is an advantage Relevant product knowledge and compliance control experience Good presentation and demonstration skills An excellent communicator who can communicate effectively (both written and verbally) in English and Mandarin Conversant with MS Office application and Chinese word processing.
