Description

Business Function Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks.

We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions.

In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank.

To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.

Responsibilities Review credit applications, transactional/exceptions and documentation requests within delegated approval authorities and ensure that they meet the group standards.

All potential risks not limited to credit, legal, operational, regulatory and reputational risk are properly addressed and justified.

Provide credit judgment/comment for obtaining approval from higher approval level if the proposed credit is outside the delegated lending authority.

Work closely with various stakeholders, including but not limited to Legal, Compliance, COO office and Business for the review of credit application and preparation of credit documentation to support business development and to ensure that they meet the Bank's standards.

To represent WM Credit to participate in regulatory reporting and process enhancement projects To support business/product developments by providing feedback and information relating to credit and documentation risks of any new businesses Requirements University graduate in Finance, Accountancy, Banking or other related disciplines 3-5 years relevant experience in private banking credit review.

Experience in credit documentation preparation is preferred Good knowledge in wealth management products Strong analytical power, good problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure Ability to make reliable recommendations to management under tight timelines Experience on Avaloq system is an advantage Apply Now We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and the professional advantages of a dynamic environment that supports your development and recognises your achievements.
