THE COMPANY : Indian owned company with over 50 years of history Trading: garments in woven & knit Main market: USA and South America Hong Kong head office: 60-80 staff Vendor factories: China & SE Asia Other offices: China, New York, SE Asia We are looking for ASSISTANT MERCHANDISER - with details as follows: THE JOB : Provide daily support to one of the merchandising teams Coordinate sample arrangements and send out samples Clerical work including data entry to update order status Participate in order processing until shipment is completed Coordinate with vendor factories in China & SE Asia Monitor order status to meet shipment deadlines1+ year work experience in garment trading/manufacturing/buying offices Good communication skills in English & Chinese; Mandarin is a plus PC proficient in Word & Excel No trips are required5 days work; Mon to Fri 9:30 am - 6:30 pm13 months salary + performance bonus Annual leave: 12 days Very few OT work is required Friendly work culture
