AVP/VP, Loan Syndication, Corporate Bank A high-growth corporate bank with continual investment in growth in the region is seeking to hire an AVP/VP - Syndication in the syndicated loans department to handle a full spectrum of activities for securing transactions including origination, credit analysis, and due diligence in execution to maintain their edge in the syndicated loan market. Role Responsibilities Proactively work with corporate banking relationship managers and customers to pitch for mandates to arrange syndicated loan transactions. Provide professional solutions in relation to loan syndication financing for corporate and institutional clients. Evaluate the structural risk and pricing for transactions which the bank is considering. Collaborate with various branches of the bank for financing opportunities. Negotiate satisfactory terms and conditions including financial covenants and forms of security in order to comply with lending criteria. Handle the full spectrum of activities for securing transactions comprising of origination, credit analysis, due diligence in executing opportunities, and documentation. Structure bespoke financing solutions to meet the needs of both the borrower and investors. Support and grow the sales network and loan trading platform in Asia. Requirements Minimum 6 years’ experience in Banking, preferably with prior Loan Syndication experience. Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, or Economics from a reputable university. A proactive and collaborative individual who works well cross-functionally/regional with colleagues. Effectively negotiates with a wide range of external/internal counterparties to execute deals/tasks.
