They are currently looking for a BU head of one of the business units focused on consultation (Slope Projects) across Hong Kong. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Managing and leading a group of professional engineers to ensure execution strategies are properly evaluated for risk, including cost, schedule, quality, safety, and other project opportunities and liabilities. Overseeing the BU P&L and acquiring new projects. Developing and delivering the short to long-term (regional/global) service line strategy. Acting as a decision-maker for project management teams, ensuring that alternative execution strategies are properly evaluated for cost and schedule impacts. Responsible for the annual strategic and financial planning of the Service Line, enforcing and exceeding established goals. Coordinating and advising on the resolution of significant project risks. Driving the team for development, improvement, compliance, and monitoring of Project Management procedures and processes in Hong Kong. Supporting innovation and implementing initiatives in the region that align with the overall objectives of the company. Serving as a communication bridge between all parties to ensure projects are on schedule. Candidate Profile: Degree qualified in civil, structural, or geotechnical engineering or equivalent disciplines.15+ years of project management and delivery experience in geotechnical engineering or civil discipline. Holder of RPE (G) will be an advantage. Familiarity with slope and government projects. Experience working in a similar matrix reporting organization. Good English communication and writing skills.
