Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a full-time Bus Driver/Automotive Mechanic with full benefits. This position involves the operation of an automotive vehicle used to transport students and/or passengers and the efficient performance of a variety of automotive repair and machinist tasks. Typical work may include but is not limited to the following: Performs skilled operations in making general repairs on gasoline and diesel motor equipment; Grinds valves and fits new bearing, pistons and rings; Assembles and times engines; Operates a bus on a regular schedule and/or on special trips; Checks operating condition of the bus before starting trip; Maintains orderly conduct of students and passengers while on bus; Related work as required.
