We are seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial business development professional with technical acumen and a proven track record in hunting new business opportunities and driving customer transformation in emerging technology areas.
Key job responsibilities
Initiate and lead demand generation campaigns targeting new market segments and business opportunities; Design and execute multi-channel outreach strategies to penetrate new industries and sub-verticals; Hunt and qualify high-potential logos across greenfield territories
Ramp up accounts from initial engagement through production workload deployment; Build and manage pipeline through proactive outreach and relationship building; Articulate transformational value of AWS services, with focus on AI/ML solutions
Support customers on their AI transformation journey by mapping AWS capabilities to business outcomes; Conduct value-based discovery to understand customer competitive positioning and business priorities; Explore and validate new business areas through market research and customer discovery
Partner with field marketing, business development, and solutions architects to achieve campaign goals
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
Bachelor's degree
Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
AWS Certification (Cloud Technologist, Solutions Architect, Sys Ops Administrator, Developer)
Knowledge of technology principles and services including infrastructure, business applications, data management, security, application platforms, and consumer-facing technology
Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
Bachelor's degree or above in operations research, applied mathematics, theoretical computer science, or equivalent, or experience in defining and creating benchmarks for assessing Gen AI model performance
