This is a co-founder level opportunity for a pastry/chef with a commercial mindset who wants to build, own and operate (not a conventional salaried kitchen role).
Role overview We are seeking a Chef-Partnerwith strong expertise in Asian desserts to co-create menus, run kitchen operations, train staff and help scale Baby Bun across Europe.
The right person will be entrepreneurial, hands-on, and ready to relocate and commit long-term.
Key responsibilities Co-develop the Baby Bun menu and product recipes (core & seasonal lines).
Manage day-to-day kitchen operations and quality control.
Recruit, train and lead kitchen staff; establish SOPs.
Work with founder on sourcing, pricing, supplier relationships and menu costing.
Pilot pop-ups, refine offerings, and support store openings.
Contribute to brand development and customer experience.
Essential requirements Proven professional experience in Asian dessert production (pastry or culinary background).
Demonstrable portfolio (photos, menus, recipes) and references.
Entrepreneurial mindset — experience in opening concepts, scaling kitchens or running your own food business is a strong advantage.
Willingness to relocate to Europe and take a co-ownership role (equity / profit share / commercial terms negotiable).
Strong kitchen management, consistency and discipline under pressure.
