Responsibilities: Assist in developing tailored scope of sustainability / ESG consultancy for clients by understanding their industry and operations, utilizing the approaches such as sustainability research, benchmarking and market intelligence.
Participate in delivering management consulting services to clients, including sustainability roadmap planning, formulation of ESG governance systems, enhancement of ESG ratings, and preparation of management proposals.
Conduct industry analysis, peer benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, and data calculation and analysis, as the core parts of providing ESG reporting services.
Propose strategies related to environmental and climate change, and deliver corresponding professional consultancy services to clients based on their sustainability performance for follow-up actions.
Assist in business development activities to engage potential clients.
Manage productive working relationships with clients in mainland China, Hong Kong and overseas, and seek, develop and present ideas to promote CECEPEC's services.
Utilize research know-how, technology and tools to continually learn and innovate for oneself and team members, thereby enhancing service delivery quality in a cost-effective and practical way.
Requirements: Undergraduate or postgraduate degree with majors in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Economy, Engineering, Technology, Public Policy, or Social Science is preferred.
Internship or work experience in related areas, such as sustainability reporting and assurance, ESG risk assessment and sustainability strategy and planning.
Familiarity with common reporting standards and ESG frameworks, such as SEHK Appendix C2, ISSB S1 and S2, GRI Standards, and Green Finance-related frameworks.
Proficiency in both English and Chinese report writing.
Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent attention to details.
Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
Proficiency in Cantonese is a MUST.
Team player with ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
