Main Responsibilities Team Leadership: Technically Lead the team of developers based in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore.

Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency.

Digital Transformation: Oversee the conversion of existing VBA Excel tools to Python and React frameworks.

Ensure seamless integration of new systems while maintaining BAU operations.

Platform Development: Work closely with the central team in Europe to further develop and customize the new Python hosting platform for Asian markets.

Technology Adoption: Champion the adoption of AI-assisted tools like Git Hub Copilot to enhance development speed and code quality.

Mentor team members in utilizing these tools to improve productivity.

Cross-Asset Management: Leverage your expertise in capital markets, particularly in managing projects across different asset classes, to ensure solutions meet complex market demands.

Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with both IT and business stakeholders across different regions to align on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

Qualifications / Skills Required BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or similar field Proven experience as a tech lead (over 8 years) or similar role in a global capital markets environment, with a deep understanding of fixed income, equity, and/or non-linear rate products.

Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in Python and React.js for web service APIs and general software development.

Background in VBA Excel, with the ability to translate this knowledge into modern tech stacks.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.

Comfortable in both Windows and Linux environments Python, React.js, ELK, public Iaa S providers (Azure, AWS - preferred, Google Cloud), Git Lab, JIRA, and CICD tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible), Container and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) Leadership Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse, distributed team.

Communication: Excellent communication skills in English.

Proficiency in Mandarin and/or French is a plus but not mandatory.

Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience in agile methodologies and Dev Ops processes.

Innovation: A track record of implementing innovative solutions, particularly in adopting AI and machine learning for development processes.
