ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will play a crucial role in supporting the Comms8's APAC team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and the local manager, you will be tasked with providing efficient and professional support in campaign management, new business development and content creation management across regions.
This presents an exciting prospect, offering exposure to various operational activities within Comms8. There are extensive opportunities for professional development and the chance to make a significant impact within Comms8.
TASKS
RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Digital Campaign Management
Lead Digital Initiatives: Serve as the key digital specialist, spearheading both external and internal digital campaigns for clients and the company.
PPC Management: Manage paid search campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Yahoo Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Tik Tok, and other PPC activities.
Strategic Collaboration: Work with internal teams to define target audiences, develop keyword strategies, set bidding parameters, and plan media across digital channels, including SEM, social media, and display advertising.
Data Analysis: Execute tests, analyze data, and identify key trends to refine digital strategies.
Optimization: Optimize bid strategies, keywords, ad copy, and landing pages to maximize performance and ROI.
Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor campaign performance using KPIs such as CTR, conversion rates, CPC, and ROAS, adjusting tactics based on data-driven insights.
Industry Awareness: Stay updated on trends and algorithm changes in SEM, SEO, and paid advertising platforms, ensuring campaigns leverage the latest tools and best practices.
Regional Expertise: Experience with Chinese and Asian digital platforms like Tencent, Baidu, LINE, and Naver is highly desirable.
2) New Business Development
Assists Managing Director and Manager in identifying business leads from current clients and prospects;
Engages with key client contacts through the personal network, event, and trade body, utilising inbound leads, and proactive out-bound engagement;
Manages and delivers a bespoke proposal for potential clients;
Keeps business up to date with key market and competitive development;
Supports the wider team for marketing campaign implementation.
REQUIREMENTS
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience in digital marketing, ideally with over 5 years experience in account management.
Excellent communications skills.
Strong understanding of the Chinese culture and media landscape.
Fluent in English is a must; proficiency in Simplified Chinese (written & spoken) would be an advantage.
Strong ability to create a professional press release and social media contents.
Eager to learn and demonstrate a high level of curiosity.
Display “can do” attitude, proactive in seeking solutions.
Passionate about marketing and branding.
