Engineering Director – EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services)Computime Limited Hong Kong SAR or China On-site Permanent 10 year or above Director Skills: Project Planning and Scheduling, Six Sigma Major Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Oversee engineering aspects and implementation of electronic products, including but not limited to PCBA, box build and system integration. Ensuring alignment with OEM/ODM client requirements. OEM/ODM Expertise Manage end-to-end product development cycles for OEM/ODM projects, from design to mass production. Collaborate with clients to translate technical specifications into manufacturable solutions. HVAC&R, Tools and Industrial Product Development Drive engineering solutions for HVAC&R systems, including thermal management, energy efficiency, and Io T integration. Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IPC). PCBA Manufacturing Innovation Optimize PCB assembly processes (SMT, through-hole, testing) for quality, cost, and scalability. Lead R&D initiatives for advanced materials and AI-powered process automation. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance to meet client deadlines and KPIs. Mentor engineering teams to foster technical growth and innovation. Reporting Prepare and present reports to senior management on project progress, challenges, and solutions. Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.10+ years in EMS/OEM/ODM environments, with 10+ years in leadership roles. Chinese and overseas companies / factories working experiences are preferred. Proven track record in PCBA manufacturing and industrial product development (e.g. HVAC&R/Tools experience). Technical Skills Deep knowledge of OEM/ODM workflows, DFM/DFA, and PCB assembly technologies. Familiarity with AI applications in manufacturing (e.g., machine learning, digital twins). Understanding of HVAC&R systems, including regulatory standards (e.g., ASHRAE). Soft Skills Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing abilities. Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin) are a plus. Preferred Qualifications Certifications: PMP, Six Sigma, or IPC-A-610.
