We are looking for an Engineering Manager based at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong!
Responsibilities include:
Supervising and guiding the Engineering team on repair and maintenance works to ensure safety, security, and asset protection.
Formulating preventive maintenance strategies and implementation plans for building and E&M systems.
Contributing to hotel profitability through effective management of building environmental control and energy conservation systems.
Preparing annual budgets, CAPEX analysis, and control.
Monitoring contractors’ work and liaising with relevant parties for project supervision and renovations.
Conducting training on emergency procedures and system operations aligned with fire, life, and safety policies.
Attending special events to ensure smooth technical operations.
Maintaining updated layout plans, MEP drawings, maintenance records, and property asset records.
Qualifications:
Degree in Building Services or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
At least 5 years of facility management experience in the hospitality industry, including 2 years in a managerial role.
Knowledge of facility management best practices, systems, and KPIs.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Well-organized, able to work under pressure, and handle multiple tasks.
Proficient in English and Chinese, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.
