About the Opportunity: RAAFA is excited to announce we are opening expressions of interest for an Estate Manager to join our Retirement Living team at the beautiful Amity Village, at 1 Ulster Road, Yakamia, Albany. As the Estate Manager for Amity Village, you will lead, support, and manage a team of retirement living staff to deliver quality services for the residents living on the estate in an efficient, effective, and consistent manner. At Amity Village, we look at all of our residents as part of a big family who travel the road of retirement together, helping along the way when required. Set amongst charming, picturesque gardens and winding streets, Amity Village offers 107 spacious units, a club room, gymnasium, and swimming pool. Key Responsibilities: Maintain occupancy levels for independent living units and ensure that independent living units and common facilities are maintained to an agreed standard. Manage building maintenance, grounds and gardens, and operation of all equipment, furniture, and other essential services within the estate. Provide day-to-day advice, guidance, and directions to staff, including staff training and development to ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Prepare and explain lease documentation for incoming residents. Prepare and implement plans for continuous improvement that involve management, staff, volunteers, residents, and key representatives. Conduct resident meetings in accordance with legislation. Interested in wellness and independence in retirement. Leadership and managerial experience, including financial management and budgeting. Highly developed interpersonal skills and teamwork skills. Knowledge of Retirement Living legislation and associated legislation and Occupational Safety and Health legislative requirements. Ability to apply quality assurance, continuous improvement, and customer service principles in the delivery of service. Ability to manage complaints and other feedback with good outcomes.
