We are a growing MNC and are now looking for a strategic and experienced Finance Director / Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our company. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects as well as shared service operations in the APAC scope (ANZ, HK, CHINA, SEA, and JP), driving financial planning, accounting operations, taxation, compliance, and processing improvement in order to support overall growth and operational excellence for the organization. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company goals and objectives. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting to ensure financial stability and growth. Cost Management: Analyze production costs and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability. Financial Reporting: Prepare and review necessary statutory reporting & filings in compliance with local laws and regulations. Management Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board, ensuring transparency and accuracy in financial performance. Investment Oversight: Manage capital expenditures and investment strategies to enhance production capabilities and operational efficiency. Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies, maintaining strong corporate governance. Team Development: Lead and mentor shared service teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Collaboration: Work closely with top management and commercial team heads to align financial strategies, processes, and objectives. Process Improvement: Drive continuous process improvement from both ERP system and operational workflow perspectives. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, with ACCA / CPA preferred. Experience: Minimum of 15 years of accounting or finance related experience in a fast-paced working environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Fluency in English and Chinese is a must. Affinity with consumer goods is a plus. Skills: Hands-on accounting & taxation knowledge highly required. Strong FP&A skills with a focus on cost analysis and financial modeling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach. Willing to roll up sleeves with a down-to-earth mentality. Working Conditions Limited traveling expected. Flexible hours & WFH allowed.
