Role Summary and Impact
WPP Media Hong Kong is seeking a commercially-focused Finance Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Associate Director, Commercial, you will act as a key finance partner and commercial contact for our Business Team Heads. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive commercial support on client matters, preparing management reporting and analysis, managing budget and forecast processes, and ensuring financial compliance. You will be integral to maximizing client profitability and supporting the financial health of the business.
Core Responsibilities:
Commercial Partnership: Act as a key finance partner to business teams, providing commercial support on client matters, contract reviews, fee proposals, and tenders.
Contract Management: Ensure all client contractual obligations are adhered to, with a focus on maximizing net sales and profitability.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare management reporting and analysis on P&L and project financials, and manage the budget and forecast processes.
Performance Analysis: Conduct performance, revenue, and cost analysis, compiling reports for management review and providing recommendations based on key findings.
Financial Operations: Perform month-end reviews of revenue, expenses, and project margins.
Compliance & Control: Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and prepare necessary supporting documentation.
Process Improvement: Support initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of commercial workflows.
Stakeholder Management: Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders to manage project issues and meet both business and finance objectives.

Required Skills & Experience:
Degree in Business, Commerce, Legal, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years at a supervisory or managerial level.
Proven experience as a problem-solver with a dynamic and energetic mindset.
Strong commercial acumen and experience in fee proposals, negotiations, and legal contract reviews.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
Well-organized, detail-minded, and proactive in monitoring progress and following through on actions.
Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Good command of both spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Prior experience in the Marketing, Communications, Media, or e Commerce industry.
Experience working on or leading projects.
