Responsibilities:
In charge of month-end closing, cash flow, financial reporting, budget and forecast. Oversee treasury function and payments.
Lead and support various improvement initiatives of the group to improve systems, business processes and internal controls
Support daily operations and work closely with senior management
Liaise with external parties such as lawyers, auditors, bankers etc.
Involve in ad-hoc projects as required
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
Qualified accountant, experience in Big 4 audit firms is a plus
Minimum 12 years' all-rounded finance & accounting experience in sizable MNC or listed company, retail experience is a must
Experience in supermarket or department store is a competitive advantage
Extensive and all-round experience in month-end closing, cash flow & treasury management, payment, internal control & compliance and FP&A with strong business acumen
Solid team management experience and proficiency in managing stakeholders internally and externally, including senior management, banks, auditors etc.
Experience in new IT system implementation, design on new business workflow and internal control procedures
Attention to details and strong project/ work stream management capabilities
Leadership skills to foster an environment of collaboration and to drive changes to enhance efficiency. Excellent interpersonal, presentation and management skills
Proactive mindset, commercially focused and able to drive departmental initiatives
Able to work in a fast pace environment, detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skill
Flexible, hands-on, able to work under pressure
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese
