Accounting and Finance Associate (Private Bank) - SCClient Description Our client has been one of the leading multinational private banks and asset management companies. To cope with business expansion, they are now seeking an Accounting and Finance Associate to join the team. Job Description Prepare Finance Analytical reports; Engage in Financial Planning, Forecasting & Budgeting analysis across the several entities of the Group; Manage and provide financial best practices around areas such as credit control, billings, receivables, and payables; Assist in monthly account closing as well as analyzing and investigating variances; Prepare group consolidated accounts; Assist in preparation of various financial monitoring reports for Senior Management; Ensure the procedure manuals are kept up-to-date and the required control procedures are properly implemented; Work collaboratively with other Financial & Accounting colleagues to identify working capital best practices in order to optimize internal processes; Assist in any ad-hoc duties when required. Job Requirements Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Financial Accountant, Controller, or a similar position. Experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry in Hong Kong is preferred. Knowledge of FRR is a plus. Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles (IFRS or HK Reporting Standards) as well as audit matters is required.
