About Our Client

They are looking for an Accounts Payable Senior Analyst to join the Accounting Operations team to handle payments, settlements, bank reconciliations and accounting support to their pension clients. Their clients include the world's largest corporations, pension funds and financial institutions and they leverage their expertise and advanced digital platforms to ensure a seamless user experience and superior outcomes. The role plays a major role in meeting client objectives and enhancing the overall customer experience for the group.
Job Description
Responsible for providing payments, account payable entries, settlements, bank reconciliations and accounting support to pension clients
Review and authorise transactions through banking platforms
Review reports and investigation outcomes on exceptions or flagged activities
Develop and implement changes to relevant policies and procedures to ensure service quality standards and adherence to the latest regulatory and legislative requirements
Resolve or further escalation issues, incidents, and risks raised by the Team for reporting internally to senior management and externally to client
Ensure collaboration with internal functions (Operations, Business Support etc.) such as providing Accounting Operations input where needed in operational enquiries or internal system enhancements
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree with major in business administration, accounting, finance or relevant discipline
4-8 years of working experience in pension funds payment operations, accounts payable, bank reconciliation and accounting operations with strong pension fund knowledge (ORSO/ MPF) within insurance/ FI industry
Strong understanding of pension administration, legislation, laws and regulations
Strong understanding of all accounting concepts (i.e. Accounting standards) and reporting issues, including unit pricing
Knowledge in banking platforms, SWIFT and local and global payment processing
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and interpersonal skills
Proficient in computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point etc) and General Ledger knowledge (People Soft preferred)
