Job Description
Build tooling for the developer community using technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Linux, Open Shift, and Renovate.
Consult with developers globally, assisting them in onboarding and utilizing the tools built and shipped.
Act as an SME to senior stakeholders and team members, role modeling engineering excellence and sharing knowledge and experience.
The Successful Applicant
Motivated self-starter, comfortable with challenges and learning new technologies.
Competent Java developer who emphasizes testing and writing clean, testable code.
Strong understanding of core Java and experience with Spring applications.
Experience with build tools like Gradle and Maven.
Familiar with Linux and developer tools such as Git, Bit Bucket/Git Hub, Jira, Confluence.
Knowledge of build pipelines, CI/CD, and production pathways.
Nice to Have Skills
Knowledge of containerization and deploying on cloud platforms like Open Shift, AWS, GCP with Docker or Podman.
Experience with tools like Renovate or Dependabot for dependency management at scale.
Experience with relational databases such as Oracle.
