Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy for post-trade operations that aligns with the bank's overall business goals.
Lead, mentor, and manage the post-trade technology team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the bank's post-trade systems remain cutting-edge.
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of post-trade systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and security.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to integrate post-trade systems with other enterprise systems.
Ensure seamless and efficient end-to-end processing of trades, including clearing, settlement, and custody.
Identify opportunities to optimize post-trade processes through automation and other technological advancements.
Implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
Monitor and analyze system performance, implementing improvements as needed to ensure high availability and scalability.
Ensure post-trade systems and processes comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Implement robust risk management frameworks to safeguard the bank’s post-trade operations against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to address regulatory changes and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Collaborate with business leaders, operations teams, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver technology solutions that support their objectives.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is a plus.
Extensive experience in post-trade technology within the financial services industry.
Proven track record of leading and managing technology teams, with a focus on post-trade operations.
Deep understanding of post-trade processes, systems, and regulatory requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive innovation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
