Job Summary
As a member of Zurich’s Partnership team, assist the Business Development Manager to develop win‑win solutions and relationships with partners, and promote growth in Zurich’s partnership channel. The goal is to introduce more customers to Zurich’s insurance products and deliver revenues to the overall business.
Job Accountabilities
Explore opportunities: identify new and significant industries/segments/opportunities by leveraging internal or external data, business knowledge, Zurich’s strategy, and internal capabilities.
Prioritize and pitch: assist the Business Development Manager in identifying the best potential partner with the highest business impact, and prepare a professional pitching deck and materials aligned with Zurich’s strategy and branding for new business opportunities.
Define needs and solutions: work closely with internal teams and external partners to identify customer needs and provide innovative, customer‑centric business solutions.
Campaign management: own business‑development campaigns from planning to execution. Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure profitable growth and customer acquisition.
Performance monitoring: establish and manage performance‑monitoring mechanisms; analyze figures, report results, and take action to improve outcomes against business objectives and KPIs.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above.
Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in business development, partnerships, or related fields.
Strong business acumen and marketing sense, with a proactive and innovative approach.
Proven project‑management skills, able to work independently and drive new initiatives to support partnership growth.
Strong independence with the ability to lead projects and deliver results end‑to‑end.
Results‑oriented mindset with sensitivity to figures and sales performance.
Track record of delivering impactful, innovative partnerships (digital preferred).
Expertise in building strong relationships and responsiveness to customer needs and new business opportunities proactively.
Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin).
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and influence stakeholders.
Passion, sense, and knowledge of digital and e‑commerce as well as interest in insurance.
Comfortable in an ambiguous, fast‑paced environment for quick and significant results.
Candidates with less experience can be considered for the Senior Officer position.
