They are now looking for an Assistant Project Director to join their fast-growing project team reporting directly to the Board member, this position will manage the data center new build and expansion project with the objectives of guaranteeing business continuity and operations excellence. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Monitor the data center projects within the group to ensure project executions are on time, within budget and in good quality. Manage all procurement of design, construction, fitting out and renovation projects in order to resolve design-related issues in conjunction with vendors, operation team and consultants. Oversee the engineering design process, ensuring adherence to company procedures and industry standards. Develop detailed engineering plans, including load lists, load balancing, single-line diagrams (SLD), power distribution, and equipment layouts. Work with different departments and external consultants from inception to project completion and handling over to end users. Perform design calculations for sizing major electrical equipment, load flow, short-circuit, harmonic studies, and arc flash studies. Liaise with main contractors and customers on site work to achieve project targets. Ensure compliance of the relevant quality and safety standard / procedures and other statutory requirements Candidate Profile: Degree holder in Building Services, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines is preferred. Ample and relevant working experience, familiar with electrical and/or mechanical maintenance. Experience in Data Centre design and construction is a must. Strong project management skills to ensure timely completion of designs and adherence to budgets. Familiar with UPS, Gensets, chiller plant, LV switchboards and CRACs Holder of Electrical Worker License Grade B or Above will be an advantage.
