Our client is a world renowned investment bank and they are looking for a seasoned sourcing professional to join the China Country Sourcing Team as Associate Director and the role is based in Beijing. Responsibilities: To support the Director of Sourcing in starting up the function in China. Assist in developing policies and procedures. Manage a wide range of IT and non IT categories. Develop intimate stakeholder relationships. Deliver and track savings in accordance with the global savings definitions and methodology. Qualifications & Experience: At least 8+ years experience in strategic sourcing. University degree (ideally in economics or Supply Management) or industry experience equivalent. Minimum 2 years experience working in either Beijing or Shanghai. Competent in negotiations and contract knowledge. Excellent communication (written, verbal) and interpersonal skills to positively influence people to make the appropriate decisions for the Bank and resolve conflicts effectively. Strong oral and written English (mandatory) and Mandarin (mandatory).
